I met with a reporter from Lancashire Post this week to discuss the fundraising we were doing for Alderhey Children's Hospital. I explained to her that although we lost Lauren, the things that helped afterwards, the memories we made, would not have been possible if Alderhey did not have a funds available. I have blogged previously about how important this was to us.
I was told that our story would be in today's paper, but didn't realise we'd make front page.
It's bizarre, we've been living with this for over 2 months, but seeing it in the newspaper made it seem more real. It properly took my breath away to see Lauren's photo.
